Caring for Country

Caring for Country is a strong part of our lives as Aboriginal people and the aims and goals of Bush to Bowl. The team have committed to putting our resources to supporting projects and actions that care for Country. We believe from the healing of Country we in turn heal ourselves and those around us.
Inline with our ethos of looking after Country, Bush to Bowl have had the honour of supporting the regeneration of the Sunshine Wattle - Acacia Terminalis subspecies Eastern Sydney - Learn more. We have partnered with Balgowlah Heights Public School, Department of Planning, Industry and Environment and NSW National Parks and Wildlife Services.
It is with this partnership that we have planned to:
Engage with the Aboriginal community to tell this story
Grow the plants from seed - supplied by NSWNPWS
Teach Balgowlah Heights Public School students about Caring for Country and supporting our eco-systems
With all stakeholders plant the species with the students on Country on the Northern Beaches
Stay tuned for a regular update about the progress.
